Health and Safety
Marcus Worthington & Co. Ltd fully recognises the responsibilities placed upon it with regard to the health, safety and welfare of its employees under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
The company is fully dedicated to maintaining our excellent Health and Safety record, and considerable investment is made annually to provide adequate training and resources for the planning and implementation of effective health and safety systems.
Our procedures have received OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupation Health and Safety Management System Accreditation for the successful implementation and management of these systems.
We employ an independent Health and Safety consultant to regularly inspect our sites and audit our policies and procedures, which are available to view at our Head Office upon request. Our registration with the Considerate Constructors Scheme ensures sites are managed with careful consideration to the general public, environment and surrounding neighbours, maintaining scores well above the national average and score references of a high level beyond compliance within all sectors.
Our membership with Rospa and accreditation with the Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) Assessment Scheme strengthens our commitment towards achieving zero accidents and enforces a positive health and safety culture throughout the company.
