Marcus WorthingtonMarcus Worthington - Managing Director
Marcus is the chief executive of Marcus Worthington & Co Ltd and Stonewell Property Company Ltd. Marcus has been contracting and developing since the late 1960s and MW&Co was established as a limited company in 1975, which gives him over 30 years in the development industry.

Russell WorthingtonRussell Worthington - Development Director
Russell joined MW&Co in 2007 from Ask Developments where he was a leading developer. He is responsible for acquiring site opportunities throughout the North of England with day-to-day responsibility for managing the development process from concept to delivery to the operators.

Graham AtkinsonGraham Atkinson - General Manager
Graham has worked in construction for the last 32 years. He joined MW&Co in 1979 and has carried out every conceivable type of construction. As a contracts director and general manager, Graham is responsible for overseeing the construction delivery arm of the business and has had many successful projects.

Giles WorthingtonGiles Worthington - Operations Director
Giles joined MW&Co in 2003 as operations director, having previously worked for Kier Build in central London. As operations director, Giles is responsible for construction delivery across a number of concurrent sites, including supervision of project/site managers and interface with clients and consultants.

David BoardmanDavid Boardman - Senior Quantity Surveyor
David has worked as a quantity surveyor since 1974 when he worked for Moore Bros (Builder Ltd). He joined MW&CO in 1978 and is responsible for running a number of concurrent projects (mostly post contract), including retail stores, university facilities, offices and housing.

Steve SmithSteve Smith - Financial Director
Steve heads up the finance team and has worked alongside Marcus for 15 years. He is responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial reporting systems and external banking arrangements are consistent with the demands being placed on the portfolio. Steve’s role also encompasses the company IT infrastructure.

Jim ColemanJim Coleman - Commercial Director
Jim has 37 years experience (including 16 months overseas in Bahrain) in the development and construction industry and joined MW&Co as a senior surveyor in 1988. As commercial director, Jim is responsible for pre & post-contract commercial/QS services for the whole of the business portfolio, valued in excess of £25m annual turnover, involving individual projects up to £25m.

Peter CrookPeter Crook - Procurement Director
Peter has worked in construction for 31 years, the last 28 years being with MW&Co. He is responsible for supply chain management, supporting an annual expenditure portfolio of in excess of £25m per annum.

David SmartDavid Smart - Construction Director
David joined MW&Co in 1988. As a construction director, David is responsible for construction delivery across a number of concurrent sites, including supervision of project/site managers and interface with clients and consultants.

David EarnshawDavid Earnshaw - Commercial Manager
David joined us from Faithful & Gould where he was a director. At MW&Co, David is responsible for proposals & project development and post-contract commercial delivery of our project portfolio valued at approximately £26m pa. He supervises the commercial team, comprising, buying, QS, programming and out-turn, and helps manage compliance, development and systems.

Carl BaylissCarl Bayliss - Managing Quantity Surveyor
Carl joined MW&Co in 1994 as a quantity surveyor and progressed quickly to senior quantity surveyor. Carl is now managing quantity surveyor, supervising a team of quantity surveyors as well as being responsible for all commercials aspects of concurrent projects and up front delivery to site.

Barry DickinsonBarry Dickinson - Senior Projects Manager
Barry rejoined MW&Co in 2005 as senior projects manager. He is responsible for construction delivery across a number of concurrent sites, including supervision of project and construction managers, and interface with client and their consultants.

Shelly TelfordShelly Telford - Head of Health & Safety
Shelly has 10 years health and safety experience and joined MW&Co as head of health and safety in 2005. She is responsible for and empowered to oversee and enforce compliance (in conjunction with the MW&Co Construction Delivery Team) with health & safety standards, policies & procedures. Shelley is a member of IOSH.
