Myerscough Higher Education Building
The longstanding relationship between The Marcus Worthington Group and Myerscough College has continued with the design and construction of a new Higher Education building by Worthington Construction.The scheme involved the demolition of two existing single storey prefabricated timber classroom blocks, which were then replaced with classrooms on two floors complete with desks, sliding partition walls, overhead projectors and state of the art lighting.
Other facilities include an IT suite, study areas, offices, washroom facilities and kitchen. The project was completed working with architects CAD Associates of Lincoln and Preston-based structural engineers Sleator & Watson.
