The development on Walker Street at the heart of thecity’s student quarter, adjacent to the University of Central Lancashirecentral campus, will comprise 174 units.
It is being delivered for Cosmopolitan Student Homes, the specialist student accommodation arm of Cosmopolitan Housing.
The development will provide first class facilities for Preston students. Double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms will come as standard with spacious shared lounge and kitchen areas featuring modern built-in kitchenappliances.
Marcus Worthington & Co took over the contract from incumbent contractor Ice Blue Developments.
The scheme will be delivered by the third quarter of 2012 with students able to move into their accommodation in time for the new academic year.
