Company helps Helen fulfil Olympic dream

MARCUS Worthington & Co are proud to support local athlete Helen Clitheroe, who fulfilled a life-time ambition by becoming a record-breaker at the Beijing Olympics this summer.

The famous Preston Harrier, who was a member of the hugely successful Team GB, set a new British record in the 3000m steeplechase when she clocked a time of 9mins 29 seconds.

We began helping Helen earlier this year when we learnt of a shortfall in her funding.

Since then her performances have gone from strength to strength, culminating in her stunning exploits in the Far East.
