Worthington Properties demolished five outdated student blocks situated off Catharine Street and constructed a contemporary four to five storey accommodation complex, known as Philharmonic Court.

The £25million development comprised two separate but linked buildings offering 354 student rooms in clusters of four to six bedrooms, with a private courtyard for students.

The project also created a new pedestrian route linking Caledonia Street to Falkner Street, reinstating the historic pattern of the area, and creating a green edge around the buildings.

Construction of Philharmonic Court was completed in mid August 2015
