The first phase of a prestigious £23m two-phase building project to further Preston’s new Central Business District is expected to be ready by autumn 2010.

MW & Co is a major partner in the seven-storey development will include a 140-bedroom Premier Inn hotel, 14,000 sq ft of active retail space and a restaurant quarter as well as office and living accommodation.

Positioned on a ‘gateway site’ around Fox Street and Corporation Street it will be of contemporary design and create a number of new jobs.

The other main partners are fellow developers Kubik Design LLP and Preston City Council.
